Default Marker LED Question

Hey guys, I did some searching but didn't really find the answer.

The front amber marker to my knowledge does not blink. It's just a static bulb. Have any of you guys changed this bulb to a amber LED bulb? Any repercussions? Which bulb did you use? Maker, etc. I have attached a pic of the bulb I'm referring to. Thanks!

Random image from the interwebz. Thank you to the maker.

Do they have to be amber since the lens is already amber?

LEDs are supposed to be the color of the lens, they show better that way. Rule of thumb is red behind red and amber behind amber. If you use a white led it won't be as bright.
