My boss won a 2010 F150 from a local casino here in Southwest Oklahoma
and he had me take the front license plate holder off the truck.Well
that left a big ole hole so I got on this forum and searched for
some ideas.
And I found where some of you guys were making your own and
some were buying the billet one's.This F150 has a grill that
resembles expanded metal so I went to Tractor Supply and
bought a 12 x 24 piece of bare expanded metal.

Bent it to where I had a 1" lip all around and just behind
the face I installed 8/32 machine bolts and nuts to hold in place.

Needs to be chromed out like the main grille but not bad!

 

The boss and I thought about it alot,but decided it may look
worse chrome. I did build two of them so I can always have the
other one chromed and see what it would look like.

not bad; pretty much matches the upper grill

but yeah I will agree; I thing chrome might look a bit better

 

I Just took the dealers advertisment tag, turned it over, painted it flat black and put it back in the tag holder. Matches the black rectangles on either side.

 

i wish i could win a truck.
