Don't get kumho M/T's they suck. I just ordered a set of cooper stt to replace my kumho with only 5000 miles.

I never said they did. They're a great tire. If you come across Interco SS M16s stay away. My dad runs a set of 37x13.50x20 on his f250. They're not bad handling/hauling wise but they're made of a soft rubber so quick wear is becoming an issue.

How about an hybrid tire like the DC Fun Country its kind of a bridge between AT and MT.It handles well on the street dry and wet ( little louder than ATs).So far has done very nice in all the snow up here.Has an open tread for mud but cant confirm yet.

I would recommend a set of Duratracs so you can get the best of both worlds. I too was looking into MT/s but I was skeptical on running them here in the winter. I'm glad I went this route and couldn't be happier with the set of tires I have now. Good luck in your decision.

For a hybrid tire nothing and I mean nothing beats the COOPER ST MAXX. I would have got a set but went with the STT instead.

I have Pro Comp Xtreme ATs on my truck now. They wobble alot but wear well. I've got 5k-5.5k miles on mine and they look brand new. I've heard of people getting 40-50k miles on Toyo OC MTs all day long, not on light trucks either. Considering my Xtremes were around $340 a tire, they are only a 33 too. The Open Country MT in 35x12.50x17 are 1400 for a set of 4.

If I had to get another MT, it'd be the Toyo...hands down. Keep them rotated, and you'll see big mileage out of them. $450 for Nitto is astronomical. Maybe they're gouging ya. Shop around online, look for free shipping options. The Nitto terra really can't be beat as an AT tire. Super long treadwear, quiet, great traction...just my 2 cents.

I'm on my second set of 35x12.5 Pro Comp MT on my 97 Jeep TJ. Never had a problem with them. They ride smooth and do great off road. Also lasted fairly long for an MT. That being said, I wouldn't consider an MT for my daily driver due to noise and faster wear than an AT.

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

These aren't the exact sizes you want, but you get the idea. And that price is to your door with shipping etc.

I just got my cooper stt on and wow I can't believe how quite they are and they ride very smooth. Also at $265 a tire for 35x12.50r18's can't beat that with a stick.
