How much space is between the seamless and window? Just wondering what the airflow is like compared to the traditional vents. Am I going to get decent airflow when cracking the windows in the rain or on a hot summer day sitting in a parking lot with the window cracked?

When cracked parked there is a but but I find that if you roll down enough for rain not to come in then air flow is non existent.

I'm bummed because they look so nice but they are pretty worthless as you have to roll them down further and then it defeats their purpose and water gets in.

But parked and cracked it lets the heat out and keeps the cabin a bit cooler.

That was my concern. I like the looks, but want something that is going to function well for my use. I use them more in the rain than any other time. Guess I should just go with a set of non seamless.

I had the in channels, took them off because of the window bounce back thing. Put a set of seamless on, and though they weren't terrible, I liked the in channels better. Much more air flow and top of the window can actually get cleaned without rolling them down in the car wash. Just put them back on this weekend and did the window motor deinitialization/initialization thing mentioned in another thread and so far so good.

They look good, Is it hard to get a sponge up under to clean the windows and under side when you wash the truck?

My only gripe is that's it's a little tight to dry after a car wash.

Default AVS Seamless install help

I recently purchased AVS Seamless vent visors for my 2014 F150 crew cab.

There is a small tab on the front end of the front window visors, and I can't figure out where the tab is supposed to go. On the outside, it's silly looking, but it doesn't fit behind the mirror cover without a lot of force, and if inside, it hits the window glass.

I watched the install video on the AVS site (they said it takes 1 minute, so I guess I am special!) but the video is not vehicle-specific, and there is no mention of this tab.

Where is the tab supposed to be?

Thanks in advance.

Jon
