Default Lug nut problems

Today I rotated the tires after alignment and upper ball joints because of some ware on the front tires. I began with a 19mm deep well socket, got 2 off and found it's a 22mm socket that had been taken off before hand with a shallow socket so it's twisted half way.

I tried using the provided tool to remove the lug's under the seat in the truck and that didn't come close to fitting.

I need to replace all of them with the same size lug's but I am not sure what the stock size is. The 19mm look to small in the hole on the wheel they hold but look tiny. The 22 fill it in nicely but I still don't know what size either are or if that is stock.

Thanks for any help.

Not sure i totally understand what happened to you, lol! But all the lugs on my truck are 21mm. But i have a '10 STX. Idk if different level trims, with different wheels, have different sizes

I went for a rotation and the tire shop showed me I had some "swollen" lug nuts and said this is COMMON! I need to get it to ford before warranty's up.

Trust me it was a 19mm which fit perfect and a 22mm that was snug had to wiggle it out of the socket to get it free.

Maybe your nuts shrank. Do you live in a cold climate?

Were these 2 separate size lugs only on 1 wheel? Or throughout all 4?
