I love it! It's a little raspy above 3k rpm until it warms up. Seems to have something to do with the way the 5.0s are timed from what Ive read. Other than that it sure does have a great sound to it.

Most of the complaints I read on forums about tires involve Pirelli's.

Pre-mature cracking, dry rot, flat spots, excessive vibrations.

Some members discovered the cracking on the inside of the tires, not the outside.

Pirelli seems to stand behind their product, however.

Chester came with the 18" Goodyear Wrangler's and although they are great highway tires (smooth and quiet), not so much for mud and deep snow.

I'll be looking into a set of those when my Wrangler's get replaced.

Let us know how they handle the mud and snow and also noise issues on the highway, please.

I, myself, don't enjoy the whining sound of tires at highway speeds.

I already put up with years of whining while married.

Is it the 14" or 18" muffler? I've been thinking about getting the 18" magnaflow and getting the resonator removed. Probably wait a while though.

I can't hear them at all on the highway with the radio on...and im talking just loud enough to be barely audible. I even drove last night with the windows down and the radio off to try to listen for them and if they make any noise its not enough to overcome wind noise. I will keep everyone updated as to how they handle different conditions when I can.

Its the 14" and at first it was too loud with me having the resonator removed. That's why I added the dynomax bullett. If I had to do it over I would have gotten the 18" and saved a little money

They ride really good, they aren't noisy at all, and they definitely look 10x better. Best $50 ever!

old: 275/55/20 scorpions

new: 275/60/20 BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A

I am thinking about getting the Rugged Terrain as well, looks like you went up a size to the 60. Any rubbing at all?

Nice to know that they do stand behind them. The replacements look really nice.

While I was cleaning up my truck this past weekend I noticed that my tires (Stock Perrilli 275/55/20's) were starting to dry rot around the bead of the tire, on all 4 tires. A couple of them had even started cracking on the sidewalls. My truck had about 9600 miles on it when I noticed it. So I called up the dealer where I got it and they said bring it in so when can look at your tires, so I headed out there, the service manager bent down and looked for a sec and stood up and said " Yep, they need to be replaced" So he sent me to the warranty rep and after a few minutes of talking to him and explaining that I would rather not put Perrilli's back on it. He said that's fine just let me know what you want and if you want something that costs a little more you can just cover the difference. I said ok.

So now I'm getting a set of 275/60/20's BF Goodrich Rugged Terrains for $50!

I will post pics when I get them put on friday.
I put on BFG Rugged Terrians T/A's 275/65/20=34.1"
I love love these tires!!
got rid of the Pirelli's put them on the wife's FX4 as she just does freeway driving

Best Tires Ive owned in awhille they blow my BFG ALL Terrians away I had on my jeep

Im going to the BFG KM2's for my summer tires and 17" 35"
These Rugged's are my winter tires, if I could get them in 35" id use them year round.......
