Default Lowered truck - Driveline Vibration

Just had my '14 FX2 lowered 2/4 with DJM upper control arms and Belltech flip kit. Now I have a driveline vibration from about 5-23mph under acceleration. Does anyone know how to get rid of vibration? I am thinking shims, but most of that talk is regarding the 2" rear spindles. I think they would probably work, but not sure which ones to get. Any advice is appreciated.

Cannot answer your question butts182, but I do have a question. Do you have any pics of your truck with the 2/4 on it? How do you like it? You tow anything? Im looking at this kit soon possibly. Thank You

Just got it done today, but i will post a pic tomorrow (its dark out now). I do tow a 21' Contender boat, and I hope it goes well. I expect that it should be fine, but will know for sure this weekend or next.

You have vibs for the same reason lifted trucks do... driveline angle is not correct anymore. you prob need to adjust your pinion angle. I guess you can still use shims with a spring under kit (assuming that's what you mean by a flip kit) and it would have the opposite effect of a spring over setup and rotate the pinion down. No way to know what degree shim you would need though without measuring.

you have a one piece drive shaft, right? because if it's a two piece then you have to worry about the carrier bearing too

Did you raise the carrier bearing?

You need to cut the factory carrier bearing mount off and drill two new holes into the crossmember and then re bolt it to the crossmember, this is a common issue and it's also in the directions for the flip kit

Not sure but he has an fx2 so it's probably a crew cab short box, still need to address that carrier bearing anyways with a flip kit
