Yea I thought short box was a one piece drive shaft, so no carrier bearing. You would only need a carrier bearing on a two piece drive shaft.

I believe that I do have a carrier bearing. Anyone know how much it needs to be raised?

All the way to the crossmember. Like said earlier you need to cut the mount off, then drill 2 holes in the crossmember and bolt it straight to that. Download the install instructions and it clearly shows how to do it.

Dude, that looks really good! Nice stance but not too low. Any issues with kit(besides vib)? Flip kit in back right? Bottom out anywhere? Thanks

It doesn't have anything to do with short or long box unfortunately. I've had a FX2 and now a 2WD Plat and both have the two piece. I'm pretty sure it has to do with 4WD or 2WD, but not 100% sure on that.

I'll try to take a picture later showing how the shop relocated my carrier bearing. I have a Ground Force 2/4 kit with no vibrations.

SuperCrew 5.5' bed length 4x4's have the one-piece driveshaft.

Thanks Azmidgit91. I am waiting on Belltech to email me the instructions (cannot find them online) too see if it says it in there. If so, I will be taking it back to the shop that did the work to have it done correctly.

loadchris83, thanks. no issues yet, but i only drove it home and back to work (about 15 miles. Will need to wait until i hook my boat up to the truck to see how it really is. Yeah, rear flip kit 4".

Abraham5G, I would love to see a picture of your raised carrier bearing. What I gather from Azmidgit91 it is going to be easy to fix. just need to get the truck back up on a lift and cut the welded mount off.
