Low Volume for SYNC Voice

Hello all!

I just had a quick question (did a quick search and didn't come up with anything). Is there a way to increase the volume of the SYNC voice? I flipped through the menus but didn't see anything. It's so low that it's barely audible.

Oh, and another quick question... what are the fabric "loops" for behind the rear seat headrests? I have a 2010 SCrew XLT.

Thanks in advance!

Loops are for child seats. Only parents of lil ones know the answer to this question.

Turn the volume up on the radio while the sync is activated. It comes through your stereo speakers.

I have a 5 year old and have no clue the loops were for car seats. I thought the hooks between the seat back and seat cushion were for the clips on the child seat.

I have a 2 year old. The car seat uses the LATCH clips at the back of the seat cushion. I guess the loops are for the tether ones.

Thanks for the info on the voice volume!

Except it always reverts to a low volume. If I am playing the radio loud then go to phone the volume is too low and I have to turn it up. Now on my wifes Flex, that thing is loud as can be! I hate that when I turn it up to hear what she says then I connect a phone call that it goes back to nearly silent!!! If I turn up the volume once it should stay that volume no matter what I am doing!

not sure what system you have but with the nav set up there is a screen to adjust the over prompts from sync so you can set her voice level

if its the other system i have no idea

Turning up the volume while it's talking worked and it's stayed where I set it so far.

I'm still surprised how simple that was. Especially when manufacturers seem to bury things into never ending menus.
