I love those emblem inserts.. and the black tailgate stripe is one of the things I like the most on my truck that a you don't see too often. I would also suggest vinyl over dip, but when done right, either way looks good. I painted mine on with Single stage paint

Did u sand and prep to paint or did you paint over with no prep? I got a buddy who could do it but I want to dip it and live with it before I pull the trigger.

the only prep u need is to sand the area with 600 Grit wet until all of the clear is matte.. Then mask and spray. It desnt get much easier than that haha and Essential brand matte black is like 50 bucks for the pint and hardener! pretty cheap mod

If I did it I would do it in semi gloss just match my rims better.

Shelby hood insert?? Pretty sweet I saw one on a lowered black screw should looks better on yours though bc it's red
