i have researched a lot on here, i am looking for a drop in muffler for my 2010 5.4L screw cab. i am not going to get a full cat back system, i just want to cut out my old muffler and clamp a new one in. stock piping. i want LOUD, not firecracker cherry bomb backfire loud, but if i am going to pay for a muffler i want to hear it as much as possible. in the cab, at idle, and especially when i get on it. i have looked around and found that the flowmaster super 10 appears to be the loudest of the flowmasters. are they any other equivalent mufflers from other companies i should check out? thanks!

why do people keep suggesting flowmaster super 40's! super 44's are louder then 40's even flowmaster says so... now i dont know about the flowmaster 10's i have never heard of them before but when i purchased my muffler i talked to flowmaster and they told me their loudest muffler was the super 44 and so I went with it. it sounds great!

i had an 08 fx4 and had the loudest and best sounding exhaust, i had a cherry bomb with a 4inch magnaflow tail pipe, and a 5inch tip,people loved the sound of that truck but about 15000 miles later it got a lil to loud

More and more I go through this site it's full of negative people. The man ask a simple question and people give him he'll about it it's his truck he Gonna do what he wants. To the OP I don't know what muffler is the loudest if I knew I would help you out unlike some people who come on here and write to people how dumb there thread is, or get pissy when they don't use the search tab
