2000 Ford F150 no that's not right
 
2011 Ford F150 XLT wouldn't start so I turned positive cable on the battery and accidentally hit the negative truck started now no power steering it says service advancetrac on the dash what can I do thanks Mike

Lost power steering help
 
So the truck wouldn't start the battery is fine so i was tightening the terminals down accidentally hit the negative terminal with a positive got a little Spark truck fire it up now I have no power steering I get a message on the dash that says service advancetrac how bad can I be anybody got any tips please help Mike

I would disconnect negative terminal for an 1/2 hour, re-try before I called a tow truck. (Reboot)

I remove the positive cable from the battery about 10 minutes put it back on still no power steering weird thing is headlights won't turn off now I guess I have to take it to the dealership

No need to post multiple threads on the same question, it's confusing and most forums dislike the practice. Check the mega fuse on your battery positive terminal, most likely popped it.

On my 2013, the battery positive side has two terminals, it’s between those two on the battery.
