Default Looks like a local lot has some '13s

One of my coworkers is toying with the idea of dumping his '09 Tundra for an F150 Well we had a few minutes so I was showing him some trucks, I went to this dealer's site as they seem to have a good selection of trucks most of the time and stumbled onto this.
http://www.fordofkirkland.com/new-ford-models/ford-f-150-dealer/detail/2013-Ford-F-150-SUPERCAB-4X4-STYLE/178/1FTFX1EF4DKD09215/~/VehicleTypeID_10~Price1_~Model_~ModelActual_~Exter iorColor_/18

Dunno if it is actually on the lot but I will give them a call in the morning just to find out . If you look at their inventory they have a couple. I am still holding out to see if it is true that Ford is going to put the 6.2 in the XLT trimmed trucks and to see if they are like the other 6.2 trucks and have not gone to the EPS. Then...

If I was betting I would say these are trucks they having coming. When I did the search for mine it showed it was on the lot then when I called and talked to my buddy he said that it wasn't but it probably would be in 10-14 days. Just my guess

I was browsing the local lot yesterday and the one of the sales guys said that the LAST truck load of 12's is showing up next week which they ordered a TON of at the order deadline. They expect the 13's in 2 weeks.

didn't production of the 13's just start a few days ago? And that was only at one of the plants the other doesn't start until next week....and by the time the trucks are rolled off the line, delivery won't be happening until october... Probably just a dealer trying to lure people in who don't know any better. "oh sorry we don't have that one right now but look at this great deal we can give you on a 2012 model!"

They've been at it awhile and are staging them now. I know for certain...

This is good to know, even though most likely in transit, from KC right now, rather than on the lot this soon, especially as far away as Washington state.

I am sure that at some point in time, after production and while in transit, all of the VIN's will make it into the dealer system, be it at the dealership itself, or the state or regional dealer data-base for inventory, as we see here.

Note: the 10th character of the VIN is the model [year] code; wherein the 12's have the letter 'C' and new 13's have a 'D' in the 17 digit VIN sequence.

I know, most likely the member who works on the assembly line at KC, will tell/shout at me (again) that "you're wrong!"; however, having been involved in state-wide vehicle theft programs for so many years, that's what I recall?

Again, as I opined in another thread, I am sure actual new MY stock will start showing up at dealers most anytime after Labor Day weekend, and into September; and maybe as another member opined, there will be mixed loads in September, of both late production 12's and early production 13's.

It is always exciting to see new models come along and what they offer!

I've never been able to get this link to work on this computer, but I've been able to view it on my other computer. Here is the order guide for the 2013's. It will tell you what motors are available for each model. I just don't remember off the top of my head what's available for the XLT's.

Is that black 2 bar grille the new 2013 FX grille? I'm just wondering if that's ever been offered before. There's a silver F-150 with a 2 bar black grille and FX appearance package rolling around north SA and I was wondering if it's a 2013.

I think we'll see aggressive pricing on the 2013's soon. The revised Ram will be out in a few weeks and in a few months the totally new Sierra/Silverado twins.
