Default Looking at a used 2013 Lariat

Do the Lariats all come with Homelink? I found a really good deal on this truck but there are certain things I want and I cant find the details on it. Not thrilled about the wood grain, but limited due to budget.

Not sure? Mine has it.

Paint the trim or have it replaced. I am in the process of doing that...

You'll quickly get used to it. Homelink is crap now that most garage openers went to security+ which is not compatible with Homelink without a repeater. I have both and it's slow and has very short range. Plus you might not get Homelink anyway as there are two different opener systems in these trucks. Install a flash2pass instead, you just flash your high beams and the door opens or closes. I have it on my motorcycle and it's slick with no exposed controls.

My garage doors are only 7 yrs old, and Homelink worked fine in my FX2. There are a few things this Lariat doesnt have that the FX did, but I am picking up 4WD.

I wish I could find where my FX got salvaged to so I could grab some parts...

In looking at the 13 Brochure, the "universal garage door opener" was a part of the 501A package, along with reverse sensing system, rear view camera, power folding mirrors, remote starting system, trailer brake controller. It did not come with the base Lariat.
You can find a pdf of the original 2013 brochure at auto-brochures.com. Click on Ford and take your pick.

I found a used 13 5.0, (see below) with 14,300 miles on it around 18 months ago. Absolutely love it. My only issue has been brake shudder. Fixed that with new Bosch pads. Just my opinion, don't use rear window defroster.

I stopped by the dealer and it does have it. I think I am picking up the truck as soon as wife gets home. Be nice to ditch the rental and get on with life.

That wood grain is horrid, it's the only reason I won't buy a Lariat.

No, they do not all have homelink. There are two brands Ford has used, you could have either brand. I forget the other name. I had a 2013 Lariat with the other, and my 2013 FX4 has homelink.

I have 2 of them and the fake wood grain is an atrocity. There's no excuse because my '06 SD had really nice simulated wood grain. As nice as my old Jag.
