That is way over budget.
I checked KBB and the asking price matches close to what the clean retail price is. I am going to see how I can do on pricing. Nothing certain yet.

Ask for a cheaper interest rate 6% is too high for that, start with 2% no more than 3% if you can

If we're throwing out what we bought our vehicles for, I bought my 09 in February of last year with 66K miles for 18K. 4x4, SCab, 5.4. That's the best deal in a huge area though, I traveled to MN for it as the extra cost was still ahead of anything else.

I work for a credit union and rates are very good right now. You should be able to do better than 6% at your local credit union provided you don't have any big dings on your credit report.

i was in same boat as you the beginning of this year. Didn't know if i wanted to save the money up front by going used or buy new. After test driving a 4.6 screw, 5.4 screw, and a 5.0 screw i couldnt have went with an '09-10. Night and day difference IMO. The incentives/rebates were too good on new ones to pass up so i went with my '13 fx2 screw, plus i couldnt find a '11+ FX2 screw in my area to save my life.
If you're not in a hurry, wait a couple months when '14 trucks get into full swing and see the '13s drop even more.
