Default Looking to swap out my exhaust

I currently have the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system on my 2013 5.0L truck. I was thinking about going with something different. I was possibly looking at the Solo Mach-X V8 Dual CAT Back Exhaust System or the Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-back Exhaust System.

I like the way they both sound, but, am having a hard time deciding. I have been looking at and listening to video clips of other systems such as Borla, Magnaflow, Roush, etc. I know in the end it comes down to personal preference, but, was wanting to get your opinions, etc. on this topic.

I appreciate it, thanks!

I have a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust and I love it... But it is too loud in the cab at 70 mph. That is the speed I drive most Of the time. If you find something that works better please post.

So I put my stock exhaust back on. I am finding that ford did a great job tuning all of this stuff. I get better fuel economy with the stock setup. If I am going to get more out of this truck it is going to be with a tuner. Just thought I would share.

I had a custom true dual exhaust with an magnaflow(I dont remember what series) dumped out on each side in front of the rear tire. Sounded like a mustang without the raspiness at WOT.

A catback exhaust will not affect fuel economy one way or the other. The reason youre getting better gas mileage now with the stock muffler back on is because its so quiet and tame that youre not wanting to stomp on it all the time!

You already have a flowmaster, dont get another one. The outlaw will drone even worse. Go with the solo system. Many guys here are happy with that system and claim no drone.

I have the same problem, you can drop it down a gear and that gets that annoying humming out of the cab and my head. I usually just drive 60 or 75 so I don't have to listen ha!
