Looking for Solo MR400 long term impressions...
Hey I am about to purchase a used Solo MR400 4in exhaust in the next week or so. I was about to modify the stock exhaust but since I am getting this exhaust at a good price I thought I can keep the stocker and change back if I need to for whatever reason. I was just wanting to hear from the guys who have run this specific exhaust for a while what your impressions are regarding things such as volume in and out of cab, gain in performance or mpg's. I know the exhaust requires a break in period which this one already has some miles on it so should be good there. I will add I will not be towing but maybe once a year with no more than 3500 pounds behind me. Fire away guys!

I'm interested in the same things. I've got a buddy with a Borla on his Dodge and after an hour in the truck you want to run screaming because the exhaust is abnoxious in the cab. I've read good things about the Solo MR400, but it would be nice to hear from owners.

I've had mine for about 10,000 miles and still love mine!! Definite difference in throttle response, and I use the gas pedal a lot more. Sound in cab never bothers anyone in the truck, usually can't hear it over the radio, which I like loud! Sounds is a bit high pitched at first, but gets a LOT deeper as time goes on.. I have a video on YouTube of it after about 2000 miles if you want a listen, Youtube.com/TheBlack2011FX4

I rode in Logan24's truck with the MR400. The in-cabin drone isn't loud, it's just localized. All the noise comes from behind you, not everywhere around you like my dad's magnaflow. It's not too bad at all. It's definitely ricey at high RPM but the idle and low throttle drone is quite deep. I'm thinking about the Mach-x Dual setup myself.

I have had my on for about 20,000 miles. I really like it my wife likes it to. It does get deeper the more miles you put on it.

Love hearing that the wife likes it! Seriously we usually take the expedition when we go anywhere so as long as I like it. If the mr400 sounds ricer in the upper rpm's makes me think they probably all do considering the mr400 sounds the deepest of the videos I've listened to.
