Default Looking for Side View Mirror Blinker Assemblies

Have 2010 F150 FX4 and my mirrors are power mirrors but they aren't heated and didn't come with the LED blinkers. Does anyone know where I can purchase these at a reasonable price? I see a couple of posts on here about installation which is great but not much on the assemblies themselves.

Here is a photo of what I'm looking for.

For future reference if you scroll down to the bottom of the page you will find "similar threads" you can click on which is where I got the above post. Good Luck!

The OP is asking where he can purchase them and he must have the part numbers as that photo is from my "How To" post on the blinkers. Anyways, get the parts from http://www.tascaparts.com and ask for Josh.

Tasca parts has them for $6-7 each: http://bit.ly/dYhL9a

That price is probably for the reflectors. Im looking for the blinker/turn signal assembly that is located at the bottom of the mirror. Ill give tasca a shot this week.

Put my order in yesterday from Tasca for both left/right assemblies. $23 each. Haven't decided yet if this is a project I will tackle on my own or pay someone. I don't have much luck and would probably break something. Will post pics when install is complete.

I am thinking it could turn into a bigger job than you first imagined. I just finished doing forward facing reflectors with LED's. I have a 10 XLT and there wasn't any wiring to tap into in the mirror assembly its self. I had to remove the door panel and tap into the interior side of the harness that plugs into the mirror. The power wire is easy enough to find with a test light and I just grounded the other side with an eyelet under the mirror stud. So if you feel handy enough to do some minor wiring, and remove the door panel, go for it. I did a search to find out how to remove the door panel. Not that big a deal. Good luck.

Was it difficult to remove the mirror glass and put it back? How did you attatch the new leds to the reflector?

No wasn't that hard at all. A little nerve racking the first time but it went well. I attached the LEDs to the mirror housing behind with a few small zip ties by drilling a few small holes. Researched it here

I didn't find it too bad a job, however I live for that sort of stuff and I'm an aircraft tech by trade.

Have fun with it.

I looked behind the glass and I don't see the tabs that are holding the glass. Can someone describe what they look like or post some pictures of how to take the glass off?
