Yes requires cutting the insert.

how much cutting was involved? is it pretty straight forward? im going to get my grille surround ptm so maybe ill just get the body shop to do it all.

Getting your grille off and getting the grille insert to line p was the hardest part. Since they need to remove the grille for paint, I think it would make sense to have them do.

Good luck, should look good. I haven't really been a fan of the billet grilles on these trucks because of how huge the grille is. To each his own

yeah i kind of felt the same way but i think with the ford badge re mounted in the middle it doesn't like such a "big rectangle" just need to figure out how i want to make my badge two tone grey/black. anyone have pics of a black truck with the black billet insert?
