Default Looking at a New F150 What are the issues on the current Models?

Hi Guys

I am looking at a new F150 4x4 quad cab 5.0L soon and wonder what the new issues are?

I have a 2006 F-150 4x quad cab.

And it has the Diesel sounding 5.4 Engine.

Have they solved the Diesel sound on the new models?

What are the "issues" on the 2013's and 2014's?

Thank you.

Be sure not to tell the dealer you want a quad cab, they will send you to a Dodge dealer.

Is the "diesel" sound the noisy injectors on yours, or do you have cam phaser issues? Either way the 2011+ trucks all have new engines, superior in almost every way to the old 5.4, not many complaints from the ppl I know that have the newer F150s. But then again I don't complain about my 07, either

If you're worried about buying a new vehicle and it having issues then don't purchase a new vehicle! As a matter of fact it's like buying a house if you wait too you have the money saved up, you may never buy one...

Just like having a kid if you wait to have a kid till you have enough money Saved, you might as will never have a kid! don't worry about the issues, chances are you won't have any just buy a truck if thats what you want!

All manufacturers have Issues on new vehicles, don't sweat the Small stuff. Thats why they come with Factory Warranties..

Rant Over...
