Default Looking for input

I am buying a 13' F150 SCREW next week. The vehicle will not be a daily and see very little mileage because I have a work vehicle I am issued. Will I have problems with seals etc on the turbos if I go ecoboost vs 5.0? My current vehicle sees 300 miles a month during normal use. In summer more due to using it for going up to our lake house. What do you guys think.
Here is my #1 choice. http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webvie...FW1ETXDFB65106
Only option is changing the engine. Other than that its perfect.

It is not good for any car to sit for extended periods of time. How long are you talking about? As long as you'd be able to drive it once a week and get it fully warmed up to operating temp, you should be fine.

Smaller engines are actually going to warm up faster. The coolant in my EB comes up to temp in a few miles.........that said, if you've ever had a car with an oil temp gauge, you'd be amazed at how long it takes for the oil itself to get up to temp....in the winter, that can take the better part of 20 miles or more.....10 to 12 miles in the summer.......
I would say when you do drive the truck, take the long way to put a few extra miles on it each time --- a minimum of 10....if you can get up on the freeway, more the better.
