Default looking for honest opinions thanks

here is the deal Im getting ready to buy new tires for my stock 18 wheels I really want the trail grapplers But Im thinking of just getting terra grapplers or duratracs due to the fact that I drive highway 80% of the time. I just dont want to regret not getting the Trail grapplers that I want. My main issue with the trail grapplers is the hum that I hear they got Is it really loud or are some of the reviews i've read just from people that went from strickly highway tire to mt's currently I got goodyear A/t on my truck and I live in Iowa where some of our roads are rougher than most city boys off road trip, would like to hear positive or negitive on these tires. by the way I was thinking on getting 275/70/18 on my next set of tires. Also i use my truck for long trips about 3 to 4 times a year.

275/70 Terra's. or the toyo open country at2. Flip a coin. They are both perfect tires for you.

I have got 305 60 18's on my stock 18's and I like the ride of them and there is hardly any noise. The only down side is I don't get but 30,000

Love my Terra grapplers! They wear great and ride great, and have handled everything I've given them. If you do 80% highway I'm afraid you won't like the trails.

Do not get either. I've had Terra's and they don't even compare to BFG all terrains

I just went from the terra grapplers to the trail grapplers. The Terra Grapplers were quieter, but as the tread ran down on them they got pretty loud. My new trail grapplers are not too loud, just a bit louder than the Terra Grapplers. It all depends on what look you are going for on your truck. The Terra Grapplers look great, nice and solid off-road look. The Trail Grapplers look 'tough' like you off-road all the time.

If noise / sound level is your only hesitation and you want the look of the Trail Grapplers, then its a no-brainer, go with the Trail Grapplers and you wont be disappointed.

Good Luck!

Duratracs are pretty quiet and haven't let me down. Mud, snow, ice, and highway.
