Super duty mirrors will not fit. The door sail is different.

I can wait to see the re-designed truck for 2015.

I am actually in the middle of doing this conversion on my 2011 f150. The new tow mirrors are a direct bolt up to the factory door. Just pull off your door panel and remove the three nuts on the back of your stock mirror, disconnect the harness that is in the mirror, install the new tow mirrors and reconnect the harness. The issue I am currently having is finding a way to have the running light enabled on the new tow mirror so that it stays on when i turn my lights on. Currently it acts as the puddle light did on my factory mirrors and comes on when i open the door and turns off when I shut them. I am assuming i will just need to run a power wire from the hot wire on the light to a wire under the dash or something but I can find out which color wire I will need to connect it to. Also working on the power telescoping switch with getting it a power to be able to use the new switch. I ordered the mirrors, the telescope switch, and new switch panel from tascaparts. They were great with helping me find the exact part numbers and everything for what I was trying to do.

What did the mirrors cost from tasca?

Are you able to give us part numbers for the parts you ordered from tascaparts?

I know they will be different from my truck but I am just curious.

Thanks.

How much did you pay for the mirrors if you don't mind me asking? Cheapest I've found them is $698 for each one.

EDIT: When I asked Tasca, they quoted DL3Z*17683*AA MIRROR AS $686.32 & DL3Z*17682*AA MIRROR AS $686.49

The desperate search to convert to OEM tow mirrors continue. At least this thread has people who have done or are doing it. I'm interested too, subbed.

It's a 3 bolt pattern for the F150 Max Tow Mirrors, just looked up my VIN on fordparts.com
