looking for 2012 f150..wait till october?
Does anybody have any idea if incentives will change for the better for 2012's?
Thanks!
Final question...are rebates based on where you live (register) or based on where you buy?

If they do they will be minimal...just realize the longer you wait the more likely you will have to "settle" for some features, i.e. you probably won't get everything you want on the truck, as it will have already been sold.

x2. If you can find exactly what you want now, get it.

Five-0 Ret.
If I were you I'd go now. If I remember correctly, after the big push to clear the lots of 2011's the rebates actually dropped.
For rebates in your area, go to www.ford.com. In the upper right corner click on shopping tools, you'll find the heading incentives. Click, and fill in the blanks. You'll get the rebates for your zone.

now is the best time to deal! theres still stock on the lots, rebates/incentives are good and later theres not going to be the urgency for the dealer to clear the 12 off the lot as stock will be low!

The dealer where I bought mine has one 2012 left, I was in there last night getting a rust proofing and they said they are getting harder and harder to find.
If you have one in mind that you like and has what your looking for get on it

I agree, if you look at last year's threads you will see that going into 2012, the 2011 rebates became so dismal, that there was only about $1,000 difference between the 12 models and the 11 models. Not enough to justify the depreciation difference. Ford for whatever reason doesn't seem to feel the need to have a fire sale on older models so much.
That said there are still 2011's on some lots, and somewhere someone found a new 2010 still on the lot that was built in 2009!
