LMI Seat Lift 2.5 - Seat Back?? 2011 SCAB Help?
So my seat lift came. Just got the bottom part installed. Cannot figure out how to install any of the remaining parts for the seat back. 2011 Super Cab so the seat back attaches to the cab wall via black clips that slice down into a slot on the cab wall. The 4 brackets I have left appear to do nothing for my setup. 2 Z brackets and 2 flattish brackets with a single bolt welded on and a couple of holes. Can anyone with a SCAB and a seat lift throw me a bone? How do I finish the lift of the seat back? Thanks!

Hmm... Well, the seat back fits into the bracket on the seat bottom. Clips at the top of the seat back clip into the cab wall and the deat frame. course teh bottom of the seat frame is now 2.5 inches higher. So, do i just hang the seat back from the cab wall and not connect it into the bottom frame. Guess I will try that approach tomorrow but it doesn't explain why i have extra parts.. lol

"The LMI 0425 SC raises the bottom of the rear seat 2 ½ inches and just like the 2001-2003 kits it allows much more comfort, visibility, and under seat storage for the owners of these fine Ford Trucks. This area is suited for use for audio equipment, toolboxes, camping gear or just a convenient place to store all the "stuff" the truck owner needs.
This kit is a bolt in installation that raises the bottom of the rear seat and leaves the seat back in the same position as from the factory.
Installation is very straightforward and will only take a couple hours. The new brackets bolt in and the kit is installed easily with only a few simple adjustments to make the completed installation everything that you want from a seat lift kit. The kit goes in very easily and the instructions have been improved and now provide illustrations to help with the smooth installation of our product."

Thank you GP!
So either I moved brackets up at the rear that were supposed to be left low or I am supposed to hang the seat back from the top clips. Either way at least I know now. Appreciate that.

Post some pics when you're done. I'm interested to see the results. What's the cost?
