maybe it's just me and I'm weird (and clearly Nicholas Cage would disapprove) but I think the Line-X actually looks awesome on a truck thats jacked up and used as an offroad, rugged vehicle. As a math teacher, I think doing this to mine would be ridiculous but I still think it looks really cool...maybe I'm the minority but I genuinely like the look.

Probably too late, because it is already done, but I think a full wrap would have been a better idea

Why would a wrap be a BETTER idea?

A full wrap wouldn't have given the texture of the LineX. That might be exactly what the OP was looking for. If so, then FOR HIM a wrap would definitely NOT been a better idea.

For you, who maybe doesn't like the texture or wants a solution that's easily returned to stock, a wrap might be a better idea. But a general statement that your idea is a better idea is not the case.

Not much. Generally nobody ever wants the chrome pieces unless they're replacing a broken one or something. But it still shaves a bit off the FX/Harley lights....which aren't expensive themselves and can be found everywhere.

I think you should lift it a bit, put on bigger tires and wider flares. It would look like a really mean off road truck, even if you don't off-road.

If I had a truck I used for driving into the bush for hunting, where branches are scraping down the side, I'd definitely do this.

I like it. Out of curiosity how much will this effect the mpg? Thats probably alot of material sprayed on. The tornado hunter truck link that was posted earlier says he had 750 lbs of linex applied.
