Default Limp mode converter delete

Hey guys.
i know its not legal ect..
but i‘m thinking about removing the converters on my 12th gen 5.0.
will there be a limp mode or some thing or will it just throw the Check Engine light ?

It should give you a check engine light at least for poor cat performance.
The down stream o2 sensors will not be happy.
That may also cause a fuel lean or rich type thing.

I'm sure it's probably been done with a few work arounds.

WHY exactly would one want to do this? There will be ZERO improvement in performance if that is what you are after. I see ZERO benefit and a host of problems for...what?

the rear sensors are strictly for monitoring the performance of the cats. You will definitely throw a code catalyst efficiency below threshold on both banks.

when the OE cats failed on my 12 3.5 I went with SPD catted downpipes, the whole thing was several hundred dollars less than ONE ford cat and after over a year they do NOT throw any codes
