I would think that this upper trim piece would also work, it just has a different finish than the wood grain. My FX4 has the appearance package that has the same black trim finish - http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/bl...BL3Z15045A76GB. At least I would have a spare trim part.
Yes fellas, this mod is all about "personal preference". Personally, I like the finished look to be OEM.
I've been reading where alot of guys are doing this mod and only the on/off switch is operational. I was wondering if purchasing #2 (moduleBL3Z13C788A) so that the dimmer switch would also work? I would need all parts in the pic except 1 and 7....

Wow! That 17 dollars I spent on this mod makes me feel a lot better. Next week I am going to figure out how to do this on my wife's escape.
