Question Light help please!!

Been searching here and google and can't get a strait answer. I have a 2010 XL and am ordering led bulbs for my reverse lights. Do I need 3156 or 921. Each place I've found answers they say both are used. Please help!!!' thanks in advance!!

They are 921's, just make sure when you order your LEDs that the diameter of the bulb is not too big.

Thanks for the help, one more question for you. I've begun looking into replacing the 4 bulbs in the taillights with red LEDs, I noticed that all four bulbs act as blinkers as well as lights. Will the standard superbrightled lights that they recommend work even though they have the different functions and will I need to buy four different resistors, one for each bulb.

If you dot want to deal with answering all those questions I dig. If there's a thread or a diagram that you know of I could be pointed that would help too. I know your one of the go to guys with lights and I would rather just replace my bulbs to get more bright than to get the whole set up, I don't like the led setups and how they look.

Yeah you need four 6ohm resistors from superbright and I bought the 45smd led bulbs as well. The two resistors need to be paralleled on each side to only one bulb so the bcm sees a three ohm load. If you need more help just send me a pm.

He doesnt need that for reverse lights only turn signals. I have 921 in mine no issue
