Default Lifted guys, doors open cmon in...

I am ordering a lift within the next 3 weeks. My 03 i ran a fabtech 6" kit which did a great job and handled well. now 10 years later i was going to go ahead and order another fabtech lift but have been hearing great things on the 6.5" mcgaughys lift kit however i would like to know the quality differences? Is one better than the other? Which would you go with or what is your experience? Anything else or any other 6" kit i should look at? Thanks in advance

I have the 6.5" McGaughys and I love it… I did have to put taller rear blocks in though because it sagged too much for my liking in the rear...

They are all really good and all really well made. I personally shopped around for around 13-14 months before finally getting the rancho 4" which also can be the 6" version if i get the 6" shocks from rancho. I made my decision based on the 1 piece Crossmember design from Rancho its super strong and reliable also a good one to look at is BDS guys like the fox coil over upgrade and the warranty they come with; However BDS and Rancho have the same producer so essentially its some of the same exact parts painted a different color and tagged a different brand. In the end it all boils down to you and what you are wanting to do and spend the less you pay now the more you'll pay in the future keep that in mind as well

Check out the 6" Rancho with RS7000MT's. It's really an awesome well made kit with one piece subframe. My truck rides and handles better than stock. I cant say enough about the kit. Rancho is running their spring rebate promotion right now! Stage3 will hook you up!

I ran a 6" fab tech on my 06 for 7 years with no problems, it was a gmc but the quality was great.

Most guys on here are very fond of BDS. They make a nice kit for a good price with a no hassle warrenty. I've done a ton of research on lift kits and that's what I'm going with.

I'm running the McGaughys lift and I absolutely love it. It rides well, it handles well, it looks good it's sturdy as can be. I'd recommend this kit to anyone looking for a lift. I'm going to try to upgrade to coilovers at the end of the summer. At the end of the day, I'm beyond impressed with it.

Rancho, BDS, Zone, or McGaughys...don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

I agree completely. I love my McGaughys, IrishRed loves his rancho, 2012platinum loves his RCX/Bilstein combo. People are going to love whatever lift they chose to spend their hard earned money on. But for specific reviews on the McGaughys lift, I don't have a bad thing to say about it and I have never heard a bad review from anyone else who has it.

Very true! I think the competition between companies these days & the technology available in manufacturing techniques combines to provide us with fantastic choices!

If any kit out there was complete sh#t, there would be countless negative reviews to be found!

You simply don't see that!
