Default license plate side mount

How do i go about mounting my license plat on the left side of the front bumper like i have seen on some newer f150's

You can probably get a bracket from the dealer. The ecoboost has it on the side because the center hole is needed to get air to the intercooler thats mounted behind the bumper.

The side mount is for the trucks with the Ecoboost engine. They leave the lower grill opening clear so that air can get to the intercooler.

If you want to move your license plate, you'll need to order the bumper pad/license plate mount for an Ecoboost truck and install it. I'm not sure of the part number.

wonder if anyone who doesn't require a plate would trade me for theirs ? i have a billet grill insert so i need to mount mine on the left

you could just screw your current plate braket onto the black piece of bumper. If you never take the rbakey off then no one will ever see the holes.

If your interested in buying one for the EcoBoost, MSRP is $60.67 from the dealer. Ford part number BL3Z-17E811-AA, includes left and right sides.

anybody have the side mount license plate adapter they don't need. I want to move my UGA tag over like the ecoboost f-150

That part number you listed thats for the license plate bracket? because I'm planning on moving mine to the left side so I can mount a 20" led light bar in the center opening
