Default License Plate Light Housing

I'm wondering if anyone has replaced the license plate light housings on their 2009-2014 and, if so, with what? Mine keep falling off.

Thanks!

I thought about it, but stayed stock and put in LED's and works fine. If they are falling off either the housings are bad or the bumper holes are the issue. I may be able to find you something.

Not super bright, but would do the job.

I had the same problem. Got new ones from the dealer and then put a thin coat of silicone on them to keep them in place. Changing the bulbs is fairly easy from underneath the truck once you get the hang of it.

I'm seriously on my 4th or 5th housing. It's absurd. I can't imagine why this is happening.

You guys must be breaking them when replacing bulbs. The ones are my 2008 are the same as the 09-14.

Once you get the hang of it, they're easy to remove and will stay out without issues.

Fyi dorman makes an aftermarket version that looks the same for very little money. They're junk though, the plastic lense melted.

Went back to OEM ones and put some sylvania zevo 194 bulbs in.
