Default Rear crew cab windows only work from front switch

Need to know if I am missing anything else. Both rear window controls went out, or so it appears. I originally thought that my rear window lock had stopped working, so I replaced the front drivers window switch assembly. No change. The rear windows still work from the front switch, but neither will work from the back.

I have ordered 2 new rear window switches, but I am worried that I am missing something and that the new rear switches will not work either.

Other thoughts?

Additional info: I have an Idatalink setup. I did not enable Sync. As far as I know, nothing window related is controlled by Sync.

I've just come across this problem with my '11 fx4. Driver side unlock doesn't work. I can unlock the doors from the passenger side door. Or my Keys.... Also even locking/unlocking the car with the panels or keys does not lock/unlock my rear passenger door. Very odd..

Check the wires where they enter the door.

Might be spitting into the wind but isn't their a feature that allows you to lock out rear window switch To prevent unauthorized use by rear seat passenger [kids]?

I use that feature all the time on mine! Like you said..there's a rocker switch on the armrest of the driver door which locks or unlocks the rear windows.

could be the lock feature is on permanently...maybe from the wires fraying in the door jam?

Default Found it!

Close on the wiring guess. Corrosion on the connector. I cleaned it and applied a generous amount of dielectric grease. They work now.
