Default 2014 cdn USA F150 wiring issues UGH!!!!

I bought this pickup, for a good deal. It came with a 6" lift kit installed, new wheels and tires, I paid $12000 cash. I love the room in it. Interestingly enough where I live there are A LOT of 14 and 13 F150's showing up for sale right now, like someone saved them in a shed or something and then sold them all at the same time. Anyway.....

Since my truck was built in Canada, there is no plug on any of the doors from the door to the wiring harness, its all one loom from front of the truck to the back, and hasnt been hacked into. Here's the issue, the left rear door says its open all of the time and the dome lights wont go out for a long time, and it drains the battery. The sensor for the door open is integrated into the door latch. I replaced it with a new one, replaced the switch in the door, and even went as far as replacing the drivers door switch for all the windows. Thus the other issue happened. I bought 2 key fobs and had them programmed by a friend of mine that is a lock smith. That worked, except every time you would hit the lock button more than once the left rear window, and that window only would go down an inch. Touch the button 8 times and it would go down an inch each time, that window only. So I replaced the drivers door switch cluster for windows, and when I hit lock nothing goes down and they all stay closed...yeah!, well almost. After pressing it twice to lock the doors, it honks as if its locked, and you can open up the doors they never lock, but it arms the alarm, but the window doesnt go down. I just want the dam thing to work and lock, no interior lights to stay on, do as it should. I have noticed that the oil life meter only goes down so far. The pickup has 114,830 miles on it. 5.0 L motor, 6 speed transmission.

Help. Idk what to do. Once again there are no connection in the doors at all, not even inside the posts, its hard wired. I cant find a wiring diagram that I can read or anything, and the VIN says its never been wrecked.

Sinking in shorts, hahaha

I pulled these prints from a 2013 manual, I believe they will match your truck. The common ground for the driver side is behind the left side kick panel, I would make sure it's clean and tight. (same on right side)

I’ll look. I never thought the Canadian built versus USA was a thing. Thanks so much.

So I've had this issue with my '10 f150 where the rear drivers side door is constantly ajar despite not being open. If you remove the boot connecting the door to the chassis you'll likely find some wires damaged. Ford put a hard plastic rod in as a means to absorbs wear from constant opening and closing of doors. In my case, the wires broke where the rod stopped.

I was able to resolve the door ajar, dome light always on, issue by pealing back the boot to ezpose the wires, cutting back the insulation on affected wires, and using crimps to re-make the connection.

Ford stopped building F150's in Canada in 2004. That there is no plug on any door is either a model year thing or a trim package thing. I have a 2012 Supercab built FOR Canada and it has plugs at every door.

Have you tried adjusting the striker for the latch and/or lubricating the latch mechanism. After I replaced my rockers and re-installed the doors I had a similar issue with the passenger side rear door. I check the wiring and all was good so I lubed the latches (Supercab has one top and bottom) and this solved my issue. A year later still good.
