Default AS Leveling kit installed today

It's been sitting in the garage for 3 months. Today I ordered a set of Trail Grapplers that will be installed on wednesday. Took the truck down to a local shop that was recommended by the tire shop to have the 2" AS level kit installed. The front end raised way more than 2" and is totally nose high. The mechanic says the suspension will settle over the next week or so but I have not read of this happening. What do you guys think? I'll try and get some picks up tonight.

How can the suspension settle if the original springs are used, 2in leveling kit in the front is just a spacer,am I correct?

The canopy pushes the rear end down a bit. I have the same set up without the level, and my nose is only about 1.5 inches lower. You could replace block on the back with a 2 or 2.5 inch one.... Or a add a leaf.

Your suspension isn't going to settle any more than it is already that's called "fatigue" and it's not something that is desirable. The level kit is a spacer and it won't squash down any and if it "settles" then it wasn't properly installed.
The canopy will push it down a bit, so likely you would be at a dead level stance without it... soooooo... put in an add a leaf (or block but I prefer the added ability of the add a leaf) and call it a day.

My truck, 11 screw 4x4, only had 1.5 inches of rake from the day i got it. Always wonder how these trucks can vary that much. Some guys do a 2inch as level and still have rake. I plan to use a taller rear block.

The front is 1.25" taller than the rear. Add-A-Leaf could stiffen the ride. After reading several posts it seems a longer leaf will not change the stiffness very much. Question for you who have done this, is a 40" leaf long enough?

I found this at Fat Bobs Garage. Says average lift is 2" which should put me near level:

Does anyone have another suggestion or a link for a different manufacturer?
