Leveling Kit feedback
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some input from anyone using leveling kits. I'd like to know what brand you run and if you have had good or bad experience with them. I'm pretty sure I want to stay away from poly... I'm concerned I'll have issues in the winter. Thanks.

Bilstein 5100s or Rancho Quicklift are probably the best way to go. I have the Daystar Poly on mine and they are fine. Honestly, there are pros and cons of steel vs Aluminum vs Poly. I would save up and go with 5100s. They are hands down the beat way to level a truck.

i have a pro comp 3" spacer, had it for around 9k miles now and no problems. spacers work fine for leveling a truck. those Rancho quick lifts and 5100's are nice but they're big $$$. you can get a HBS level spacer that does the same thing for about $70.
i'd say definitely stay away from poly kits though. they can sag over time

I have a tuff country 2.5 level steel block, just love the way the truck looks now, no problems what so ever.
BUT, i had the knock in the steering wheel prior to installing the leveling kit didnt really notice it and it didnt bother me that much, but since installing the leveling kit ive made my rounds with the dealership to try to get the knock fixed and now i have to take the level back off, PIA....

Day star 2.5 for mine in front and a 1 inch block in the back! Makes my 2wd look 4wd leveled! Looks awesome, rides a bit rougher, but the look alone makes it worth it!

Last year the 5100's were $97/each. I think they are higher now but for less than $200, it's worth the extra for the decreased strain on BJs, CVs, and tie rods/rack. Plus, there have been many complaints about premature failure of the stock shocks anyway.
I had the Daystar poly's on my last truck and about 2 years after installing the spacers I had to replace a tie rod end and 3 bal joints. Plus it was impossible to fully align

Autospring 2" level here. Only been on for a few hundred miles, so can't give feedback on how they hold up. Truck sits real nice though and ride quality didn't change much at all.
