Default Leveling kit or 6" Lift

I am trying to decide what to get and i am in need of some help and questions answered. Anyone that can help me out and answer these questions would be greatly appreciated. I am leaning towards the lift but just looking for more opinions.

For those who have a leveling kit how much was your install? How is the ride? Are you glad you got the leveling kit over a lift or is it just a stepping stone? Have you gone off roading with the leveling kit and how did it preform?

For those of you with a 6inch lift. How much was your installs? How is the ride? Was it worth the extra money for the lift over leveling kit?

For those that switched from leveling kit to lift. Was it worth the upgrade?

Why don't you meet in the middle and get a 4" suspension lift. Worse case scenario I it not high enough you can do a 2" body lift for a total lift height of 6"

Go big or go home. You shouldn't be paying more than $500-$700 for a lift instal the ride is rough compared to stock but with the right set up it will be smooth. Any pot hole you hit will be hard but with bigger tired that's expected. Good luck!

I priced out a Pro Comp Lift for my 2012
6" - 1,700. - 2,800.00 for the kit depands on what shocks you buy, then it was 8-10 hrs labour so 800.-1000.00 labour
then you have to buy bigger tires and rims, change your gears, possible tuner, possible traction bars.

what I did.....vs the 6" lift for now cause of warranty dealer has Issue's with lift kit

My 3 " pro comp leveling kit was 116.00
2.5" rear block - 78.00
firestone rear air bag kit in case Im towing - 346.00
350 labour..for all that....
100.00 for algnment
plus went to 34.1" tires 1000.00
fender flares, install and paint 800-1000.00

my ride stayed stock and handles great, but im going to buy, BFG's i have better tires then I had stock with the awefull Pirelli's
Ready Lift - longer Control arms later on for mudding keep the preasure on the springs - 750.00
plus tie rod uni ball ball joint kit 739.00
and labour 2-3 hrs

thats all i got......

Grant

Being 6'5'' its not the height im worried about lifting as it is now i am not stepping up into my truck haha. I am just trying to see about price difference being worth it really.

The Rough Country lift is the one im looking at cause my buddy is a dealer and can get me it super cheap. You say it rides poorly? Is it just stiff ride or overall bad ride? I am not worried about a stiff ride i come from a car background of lowered Mustangs that you feel a piece of grass you run over haha.

Thanks for all the responses guys! Keep em coming i wanna pick yalls minds more!
