Default 4x4 wheel isnt great imo

I dont like hpw f150's 4x4 system is. I hate when it won't go smooth cux I turned around on little snow cover the roads. When I turned it off and I can't get my truck go because its slippery and got no control. Dislike the system. Jeep is way better. Hey I still love my truck but just saying that I'm nor impressed.

Are you saying you don't have adequate control when you switch into 2x4??? 4x4 is 4x4 no matter what the brand. Jeeps may have a different weight distribution and their lighter weight may contribute to their better handling in snow.

Not sure if that answered your question but, "That's all I have to say about that".

Not sure exactly what you are saying as your typos run pretty rampant in your post...but as a Jeep and Ford owner (among others), I don't think your comparison is apples to apples. My trucks 4x4 is much smoother than my 1999 Jeep Wrangler (have owned and built up 6 Jeeps so while I am not an expert, I definitely speak from experience). What rim/tires do you have on your truck versus what do you have/had on your Jeep?

Painful to read, but it sounds like your 2x4 complaint is due to the tires and not the 4x4 system.

if you want to drift in the snow, the truck wont let you do it with settings the way they are... the truck will do many things to keep you from sliding sideways

not if your hold traction control button until advancetrac is off then the truck will drift perfectly and the truck wont try to corrent itself

I can almost go sideways just making a left out of my driveway. For my first 4x4 vehicle, I am fine with it. It is the piece of **** OEM tires that kill me. 300lbs of weight in the back doesn't help much either. I sometimes anticipate poor traction at a stop and go into 4x4 before I get there just so I can make my turn without potentially getting hit by another vehicle. It really sucks to be in a modern and heavy truck like this and to be experiencing such poor traction. Figured OEM tires with all that new tread would perform better.

Will be prepared for next year's winter though.

I have a headache trying to understand the what he was attempting to say. Needless to say he might have the wrong rims and tires on his truck.

Move to San Diego. You won't have to worry about 4x4 or spelling.
