Default What are you towing?

32' bunkhouse. 9200 gvwr. 2010 fx4, max tow package, integrated brake controller, 5.4, 3.73 gear ratio, 11,200 max tow rating. Had to buy an equilizer hitch. This is our first travel trailer, I bought it two weeks ago and this weekend was our first camping trip in it. The truck does ok towing it but I kind of wish I bought a little smaller trailer. The weight of this trailer is pretty light considering its length but for a first time tower, it's a lot of trailer. Accelerating is a bit slow, brakes fine but not sure I want to take it up lookout pass at the Montana Idaho border as my truck does not like pulling it up hills...

Nice set up but thats heavy for length to me,mine is 28' and 5250 dry,has aluminum framing so I reckon it helps,14' slide ,was pulling it with my 02 v6 and it would take off slow but a few rpm's and it had plenty of torque ,355limited slip ,375 would be much better

Most of the 28's I looked at were about 6,000 dry. This 32footer is about 6200 dry.... So not bad when looking at those numbers

Truck pulls it great.

These four trailers with whatever the hell I want to load in them because the 3.7 with the towing package and 3.73s is surprisingly awesome at towing. (The utility trailer made from half of an old Chevy truck has wheels and tires now, that pic was taken after I'd drug it out of the brush that had grown over it. My dad paid $40 for that trailer 20 years ago.
