I am also quite impressed with them, not nearly as loud i expected and ride really good. They are awesome in the rain and so far this winter here in northern Alberta they are holding their own. They bite hard in the snow.. Only thing is to be cautious in icy conditions because of the width of the tread blocks, also I find they become quite stiff at low temperatures ( we have had a few -35•C nights already ) but that is to be expected with any tire. Still beat the heck out of the stock pirellis in any condition!

Hey guys just joined the site and this is my first post or what ever and this is the reason why I joined this site. I just got a rough country 2.5 inch levelling kit for my 2010 ford f150 super crew cab lariat 4x4 and I'm having some trouble getting the bolt off my upper control arm, any ideas how to take off them nylon lock nuts with out just reafing them off ... Unless that's just how you have to do it would really appreciate it.

You don't need to post the same thing in threads when you've started your own topic.

1" Level and Nitto 295/70-18's
New here, been a lurker for awhile. 2011 Lariat 4x4 SCrew EcoB, 1" Daystar spacer.
Been running BFG AT KO 285/65-18 with the 1" Daystar and just last week installed Nitto Terra 295/70-18. A little low rumble noise, is not bad. Trimmed about 1" from the rubber fender shield, otherwise all good. These Nittos are 34.4" tall and just under 12" wide, they fill the wheels well the way I like.
Gas mileage unchanged on highway, about 1mpg less around town than the BFGs. Loss of 'power' is barely noticeable. The ride is improved.
Tooled around off road and they are better in the mud than the BFGs, and better in the soft soil woods too. Haven't been on rocks yet.
These tires are way better on wet pavement than the BFGs. I like 'em!
