So what was your kit actually called? A kit that comes with rear blocks cannot be called a level.... Confused.
If it said, 2.5 inch F150 "lift" rather than level then that makes sense....
Does ANYTHING I am saying make sense?

I use my truck the way it was intended, so having some rake is what I need. A 4" kit wouldn't afford me that luxury. But having the AS 2.5"/3" "unlevel" level is perfect. I wish I was able to go out and drop $3500 on a suspension lift but as a 1 income family and active duty military I can't afford that.
Maybe consider that next time you go to knock someone else's personal choices to THEIR truck

Not everyone can be as smart as you and go with a 2" HBS "and be done with it."

From what I have read I think it's a little firmer. Not bad but a little.

Thanks for your service! You need a raise so you get get a lift .
I would say being nose high while towing is a necessity rather than a preference. Unless your definition of "preference" is something other than being able to safely drive around while towing.
Good thing you're not a mod on this forum. Having a 2.5" lift in the front gives most trucks a bulldog stance (higher in the front). Some fix it by putting a 3" block to replace the 1.25" stock block in the rear to ... tada... LEVEL it. Others install AAL's to achieve a similar result.

I have a 1" Daystar level and it's makes my truck almost perfectly level but I have a set of FatBob's AAL's sitting on my workbench (for almost a year now ). I haul dirt bikes so I didn't want to be nose high either. I've heard if you get the long AAL's, the ride doesn't suffer and actually made the ride better for some. FatBob's AAL's are longer and will raise the rear about 1.5". I'll post pics in another thread if I ever get them installed since it wont' be level anymore .

rdkev, I actually agree with you on this. A leveling kit is designed as a spacer for just the front only to get rid of the obvious factory rake. Adding a block to the back is basically just lifting the truck with the same rake it had out off of the factory floor, therefore NOT level. I personally think the *** high "skunk" look associated with adding rear blocks looks worse than the factory stance in most cases.
