My 2013 SCREW Lariat 2WD. 2.5” front level (front end spacers). I also shined her up while waiting for the rear fender flares to come back from the shop. Had an unfortunate rubbing incident at the shopping center parking lot. Next up are larger tires, either Nitto Grappler or BFG KO2.
Nice shine on a sunny texas day
2.5” front end level. Worn out original tires ready for something a little larger
Fenders being repaired

How's she goin' eh?
Bumping my question and pics for clicks...
I have a question, I remember reading somewhere about running 5100's in the rear and wanting to run a larger block or a 1.5" AAL I would have to run a longer shock. Is this true?
I'm considering a 1.5" AAL but do not want any issues of my shock being over extended or whatnot.

I was under the impression that any rear shock should be fine with up to a 3” block (or ~1.75 inch lift). I’m running 2.5” rear blocks with Rancho RS9000s without issue.

M0rris, an inch extra over stock is fine for the 5100s. That's what my Bilsteins say and if you look them up you'll see the same. I read you wanted an extra 1.5". A half inch isn't a whole lot. I would jack up your truck from the frame so the rear tires stay on the ground and you'll see how much more travel the shock has when it isn't compressed, and decide from there if you're comfortable with it. I highly doubt that extra .5" is going to do much, if anything at all
