Neeeeed help!!
So I'm all new to the whole truck life. And recently have gotten a 2009 ford f150 lariat. Lovin it so far! But am wanting to get a leveling kit and maybe some new rims and tires to make it look much nicer. I've looked through this thread a bit and I'm leaning towards a two inch level up.
Now how do I go about all this?? What's the difference in the kits? Do I get the auto spring, coil spacer, block kit or any other ones that I don't know of? And what size of tires and rims could I go with with a two inch level up on my truck. I just don't know how to go about all this, should I just take it to my local mechanic and ask him what's best? Sorry for all the questions, just a newbie at all this. Thank you so much for the feedback!!

Leveled out FX4
I have finally taken the time to upload my leveled out truck. I enjoy the look a lot more. It will look much better when I get the new tires next year sometime.
The toe was fixed, but they couldn't get the camber/caster back in spec. I told them not to worry about it since they wanted $500 for that.
$100 HBS 2" and paid a buddy $100 to install and $100 to NTB to align.

Kickin it
Here's a random question, if I leveled the new truck for now along with the alignment of course and waited on tires to wear out. Do I need another alignment with new rims and tires?

Typically you want an alignment after getting new tires, so it would be best to do it all at once instead of paying for 2 different alignments.

That's why I'm holding off, but the low front is killing me. Don't wanna drop the bomb on some new tires already when the truck has 350 miles on it lol. I have rims waiting to go though.
