What did u paint ur tails with? Niteshade?

Well........ Yes it is nite shade's and clear coat. I actually taped off the red part of the tails. Put a few coats of nite shade over the chrome parts. Then wet sanded. Did a light coat of nite shades over the whole lens. Then cleared, wet sanded, and buffed. Turned out like a lightly tinted raptor/newer FX4 tail light. And the light still shines through very good.

Wow, for it being the chrome lights, it came out better than i thought. I've been planning on doing this for a while now instead of buying HD tails, but I didn't know how it would look with the chrome outline. Now that I've seen it, I think I'm gonna go through with it. Would u happen to have any pics with them lit up?

Thanks! I do not have any pics with the lights on right now. I will try and get some though. The light shines through the tails very well as the coat over the "red" part of the tails is light.
