You're actually better off looking into some tail light tint film, VHT will give you a nasty, dull, cheap, "quick-fix" look that will adversely affect the cleanliness of your truck. Look into Lamin-X, that's what I used on my Recon tails and it matches my paint flawlessly while allowing the light to penetrate through the the black.

Dan, looks awesome. I don't like chrome at all, but it works out very nicely on your truck. Nice balance between the black and chrome, I think the tails pull it together.

Love this truck!

My baby.

This is my 2015 FX4 Lariat. I recently purchased a new cold air intake and SCT tuner but haven't installed either due to concerns that it may effect warranty coverage if I have any problems. Has anyone encountered this before?

i work for a ford dealership, we just finished installing an sct x4 on my truck and i have extended warranty on my truck, i also have had customers and myself put k&n cold air intakes in and they don't void warranty. if you blow your motor with a tune then yeah ford will tell you to take a hike but if you are ever taking it back to the dealer for work plug the sct back in and put the stock tune back on

Do you have pictures with the lights on, by chance? I used VHT with my stock tails, and it is kind of... dull and the light doesn't shine that good during the day. It's still visible, but not as much. And how much was the film?
