I bought my Fx4 about a month ago. The previous owner installed some aftermarket headlights that I hated. He also added a chrome grill overlay, chrome handle overlays and chrome mirror caps. I'm not one for chrome so it had to go. He also had a Cold Air Intake installed. It had a tonneau cover on when I bought it. Everything else is pretty much stock.

Here's a list of what Ive done since I bought it
Took all the chrome overlays off
VW Switchblade style key and fob in one (like having all in one set up)
Installed a Deezee easy assist
LED 3rd brake light
LED's in the interior and license plate
Spyder Taillights
Spyder Headlights
OEM HID Conversion from bilinvic & Retrofit
Gray and black badge overlays ordered
Kicker Sub, Amp and Speakers ordered this morning from Rogel Ford
And much more to come but here is how it sits now...

Do you wax that truck on a daily lol? Jesus. Looks cleaner then you would buy it brand new...

I don't have any too recent photos of my truck... I've mainly just "Blacked" more things out.. Such as my emblems and tow bars. I also Dipped the X on my 4x4 red... I'll try and remember to take some more recent pictures tomorrow.

I know its totally personal but just wondering if anybody else has debated the same thing. I recently upgraded the hood, so the hood does have the decal and now I'm thinking about removing the sides.

I've noticed that overall I find the decal is a little bratty to maintain when detailing etc.

PFunk, I'm assuming your vote is to remove the decals eh?

I would have to say yes, but, that's just me. I just prefer a clean look overall.

I took mine off and love it! The app package still has plenty of custom enough touches between the painted flares, black wheels, etc

What hood is that. I'm gonna be getting a cervini hood when I get my truck fixed and I kinda like the look of this one too

Wadz, started a build thread using the Cervinis hood.
The final product came out beautiful and it's functional, which makes it a perfect mod.
Check it out. It's on page four, or the 70th, thread down the line. Depending on how your viewing the site.

It's the Cervinis 09-14 Type IV Ram Air Hood. Here is the link:

I have had this hood on my truck since September 2014 and absolutely love it!

Spyder Headlights
OEM HID Conversion from bilinvic & Retrofit

So did you Purchase the Spyder HID or Halogen version?

I assume went HID and are just using stock bulbs and ballasts with the conversion harness? Was this cheaper than going with stock 13-14 HIDS?
