Lets see those 2009-2013 lifted trucks

Great looking trucks in this thread! I've never had a lifted truck before but am definitely considering it. Can anyone comment on the potential downsides to adding a lift? My initial concerns are ride (compared to factory), gas mileage and how much of the investment you generally get back when you sell. Just trying to go into this with open eyes - thanks in advance!
Depending on your tire and rim size you could see either a dramatic drop or a relative drop. I was getting 20 city 22 highway. With my lift 33s and 17s I am getting 14 city and 16-17 highway.
Lifting your truck, you won't get back what you have in it. Unless it's in amazing shape with low mileage and spotless. You won't see it back. It's an investment per say as you won't see 50mpgs, you will though see 50 smiles per mile.

I agree with everything in the above comment. My 6 inch lift with 20s and 35s rides 10x better than stock. As for gas mileage, it surely does depend on weight added. With my combination I went from 17s to 13s mpg. All in all, great investment so far and dont look like selling anytime soon.

Yea mine is tuned and only got about .2 mpg improvement lol but I am using the power/tow tune instead of the eco tune...not enough power with the eco tune.

I would suggest an intake first like AFE before tuning, unless of course you already have one. That's where I saw most of my gain in gas mileage.
