Edit: Nice trailer, but the 937lb dry tongue weight (add batteries and propane, plus the adjusted weight of everything in front of the axles) would cause me some concern.
Dry weight of the camper is only 7,500lbs which is very in our GCVW weight. The truck barely squats when I hook up with my WDH hitch. I did the math before i bought the camper. The truck has had no problem what so ever in towing the camper.

Must be an EcoBoost.

Towing stuff scares non-EcoBoost owners.

I'm surprised you found a lighter trailer with those rollouts or whatever they're called. I don't want a trailer with them, they add weight. I'd rather find a longer trailer without and get what I feel is a better value.

Funny, I watched their first episode on discovery channel. Watched the rest of season 1 on their website.

What's really weird, is that I had already mapped out/planned our own trip to Alaska/Yukon. We did the same exact loop they did (minus the Dalton), only in reverse. It was really cool seeing our trip in advance.

Default Wow

How did you get 1900lbs payload on a non HDPP 2014 truck? Is that the actual door sticker or ford’s published maximum? My 2018 max tow XLT only has 1804. My 2009 XLT had 1353lbs via the door sticker and far less options than your FX4. Did you check the door sticker? I think you are grossly overloaded when you actually get the payload for YOUR truck via the yellow sticker in your door. Beyond that, dry hitch weight doesn’t include the batteries or propane tanks on the tongue of your trailer. Your calculation also doesn’t include the 50 to 100lbs weight of your weight distributing hitch.

Just pointing out things that can get you in trouble. I’m jealous of that trailer, it looks really nice.

It will still be months before I even think about camping, the motorhome and travel trailer are both buried in snow with more on the way.

These pics were from last July
