TT is a 38Ft long Evergreen Sun Valley S300BHSL. It weighsonly 7800LB dry and I'm pulling it with a 2011 Ecoboost with towmax / shortbox.I towed it for 5.5 hours over the week end and the truck and trailer performedvery well. I can't say I didn't feel it like some others do but I can tell youit towed very easy. I was expecting the truck to be slower and lackingpower....man was I in left field, this motor has some power and some more....Ihad to climb 11% hills for about 2 kilometers (starting from a dead stop) and Iwas doing over 100 kph on top. Compared to my old TT (30ft Kodiak), this one isand feels heavier but not that much.

Great to hear! I just went to the Hershey RV show and saw just about every travel trailer under the sun with a bunkhouse floor plan! I'm really hesitant to go more than 34-35 feet, but of course the wife's "dream" trailer is exactly the floor plan you've got (bunks, island kitchen, and bigger bathroom with corner shower) which extends the length to 36+ feet. Glad to hear you had no problems towing. What type of WDH are you using? Does it have the sway control built in? How is it to back up into a camp site!?! Congrats, it's a great looking rig!

Brady420, I use the conventional round bar distribution system with no sway control attached to it. I do use the Husky Sway control, attached to trailer and shank. I find it a necessity, especially on windy days.
When I purchased this trailer, I changed the system because my old one was not strong enough(old reese) so I opted for the same thing that worked for me for the last 15 years. Pictures bellow. As for backing the trailer, no problem there. Same as my old 30ft, just need a little more room. My recommendation, before buying a trailer this size, you may want to verify if your favorite campgrounds accept a trailer this long, I know some places don’t.

Made a trip to Frontier Town in OCMD...we love that campground. Anyway, here's a pic of the popup, all set up. We can't squeeze in a camping trip in October or early November so this was likely our last trip in the popup because I am hoping to trade her in on a new travel trailer!

As long as those young ones are and having a good time... that is what it is all about.
They will remember (and cherish) those days for the rest of their life.

At Purtic Creek State Park
Poured rain the 1st night. Fortunately had a few tarps for the truck tent to make sure we stayed dry through the storm.
