Question Lets discuss bed covers

Just curious what brand you have and what you like and dislike about it.

Only one I have experience with is truxedo lo pro cover. I like how it rolls out of the way but it seems like I am adjusting the clamps and rails a couple times a year as they tend to move and slide down. The other thing I hate is in the winter the covers tailgate seal sticks to the tailgate and you can't open it. I've had to use my knife to chip and cut ice away to access the bed, not fun.

So with me getting a new truck I will eventually get a new cover. What are your thoughts?

I have the XR series low profile roll-up tonneau from realtruck.com.

I have also had the TonnoPro LoRoll and the Truxedo Truxport. I personally like the current tonneau the best. It has an easier release than the TonnoPro and the Truxedo. I also don't seem to have the same issues with ice preventing the tailgate from opening during the winter months or constantly having to readjust the tension.

I've had both the Bakflip F1 (on my '12 SCREW FX4) and now the Bakflip G2 on my '13 STX shortbed. I ABSOLUTELY recommend the Bakflip G2 (sold by Amazon - BAK 26307 BakFlip G2 Truck Bed Cover) - $687.55 (PRIME eligible).

yes, definitely spendy, but I liked the F1 on my other truck so much, anything less seemed like a "step down"...and the G2 was a couple hundred $$ cheaper and seems to be identical - only composition of the panels seems different. The G2's seem to be just as sturdy/nice.

I have the BakFlip F1, love it , but same problem with it freezing. Have had to get a heat gun out a few times already.

I also have the Ford cover. I like how it secures at the front of the bed but at the rear the clamps stink. I had the Extang Full Tilt on the last truck and really liked it. I'm going with a fiberglass cap in the spring, it will be the best choice for what I want to do with the truck.

After much consideration (months) between the fold-up and solid hard covers I decided on the Undercover SE. 100% dry bed no matter what the conditions, strong, light weight, easy to take off and put on and hangs on the wall when not in use. $800 OTD installed.

I've had a TruXedo Truxport on two pickups now, my '09 F-150 and my '12 F-150 that I currently own. No complaints.
